Schrägbandeinfasser
Das Einfassen mit Schrägband ist eine einfache Methode, um Stoffkanten ein glattes und sauberes Aussehen zu verleihen.
Sie benötigen dazu ein ungefalztes, 24 mm breites Schrägband.
1. Entfernen Sie den Nähfuß und setzen Sie den Schrägbandeinfasser ein.
2. Schneiden Sie den Anfang des Schrägbands diagonal ab.
3. Führen Sie das Band in die Spirale des Schrägbandeinfassers ein und ziehen Sie es nach hinten heraus.
4. Stellen Sie den Schrägbandeinfasser und/oder die Nadelposition so ein, dass die Nadel 1 -
1,5 mm von der gefalteten Schrägbandkante entfernt einsticht.
5. Steppen Sie etwa 25 mm auf dem Schrägband.
6. Legen Sie dann die Schnittkante des einzufassenden Stoffs zwischen das Schrägband in
den Schlitz des Schrägbandeinfassers. Das Schrägband legt sich während des Nähens
automatisch um die Stoffkante.
Tipp: Durch Zickzack- oder Zierstiche erhalten Sie einen zusätzlichen dekorativen Effekt.
